Pianist and composer Eliane Correa spoke with Chris Philips

Pianist, composer and band leader Eliane Correa has Cuban family lineage, lives in Barcelona and has her hands on several vibrant music projects. She's recently released an explosive new Latin jazz album 'Rumba Con Flores' featuring some of London's top Cuban musicians and more with a potent mix of influences including a heavy dose of traditional bata drumming. On Tuesday 29th September she opened the Third London Latin Jazz Festival at Pizza Express Jazz Club and came into Jazz FM to talk about the show and the album.
