Here is a 7 minute and 25 second recording of the sea, at Heywoods Beach in Barbados one evening. My nan and her husband Patrick are simply phenomenal people, and knowing that my wish was to capture as many of the natural sounds of the Island as possible, drove me to some rather out-of-the-way places just for that purpose. Most people don't understand the value of a good sonic experience, living purely through exceptionally high-quality photo and video, but audio from most cameras is pathetically useless. I aim to rectify that with a great stereo experience, best enjoyed with headphones. you occasionally get Patrick talking to me and my nan, sounds of traffic, people having fun in the sea, naturally the sound of the sea waves washing almost up to the feet of the tripod on which the recording equipment sat, some birds flying overhead, and other things that it's worth listening to find out.

All of these sounds were captured using an #Olympus LS-100, a #Jecklin Disk and some cad M179 condenser microphones. For a high-fidelity #flac copy, click the following link: http://onj3.andrelouis.com/re/FreakyFwoof/20150824-SoundsOfTheSeaAtHeywoodsBeachBarbados.flac
