EDU 313: Google Drive
Share
This week we will be taking a look at a suite of tools that exist in a cloud space called Google Drive. The tools we will mainly focus on are Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Forms. And the strength behind these tools is your ability to not only share with others, but also that you can work together to build a document, survey, presentation or spreadsheet. So that will be our focus for this week. Within this week’s folder, you’ll find several materials that will introduce you to what Google Drive is and how it can be beneficial in education. It’s not enough to just know the technology, it’s also important you understand how it can be used to help strengthen learning in the classroom. So again, this week we’ll learn about Google Drive, its power of collaboration, both for you are a teacher and for students to work together as well. One other note – you will need to create a Gmail account if you don’t already have one for this week’s work. Be sure to do that before jumping into the tutorials. You will find a link to help you with that task inside this week’s folder.
