Rio Woolf's BBC Radio 5 Live Interview re: Watford's Local Hero Award - 31st December 2014

Rio was thrilled to be invited to New Broadcasting House by BBC Radio 5 Live to do an interview about winning Watford's Local Hero Award in November 2014. As the winner of this competition run by the Watford Observer, Rio was so excited to have the honour of switching on the Christmas Lights at intu Watford shopping centre with the stars of his beloved Watford FC - he was so happy to meet his Hornets Hero Troy Deeney!

Rio also talks about his amazing Dorset Orthopaedic legs and his excitement at watching his ParalympicsGB hero Jonnie Peacock at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

Rio is the first to be interviewed of the young award winners featured on the Afternoon Edition programme - the first part of his interview runs until 07:25 minutes, he's then on again at 15:03 minutes.
