Match in a minute from Adams Park where Wycombe Wanderers beat visitors Cambridge United 1-0 to go top of League Two.
Wycombe started well as a free-kick from Joe Jacobsen went just over whilst the U’s, backed by a small but loud travelling support had a chance through Harrison Dunk.
Gozie Ugwu and Michael Harriman then both went close for Wycombe, whilst just after half-time Robbie Simpson put a free header wide from six yards for the visitors.
Dunn was sent-off for a foul on Ugwu outside the area after a weak back header from George Taft but sub keeper Sam Beasant saved the penalty from Gary Thompson.
A 3rd goal of the season for Harriman with twenty minutes left proved the difference, a sweet strike from 25 yards to send Wycombe top, their 3rd successive 1-0 win over Cambridge.
On Saturday Cambridge have another long away trip at York, whilst Wycombe are in action at home again, hosting Northampton Town.
