Millions Hungry as South Sudan observes World Food Day

Millions of people in South Sudan are facing acute hunger especially in conflict affected states as South Sudan joins the rest of the world today to observe World Food day.

World Food day draws attention to the importance of food security.

George FOMINYEN, Communications officer of the World Food program in South Sudan says economic hardships have compounded the problem of food insecurity in the country.
