Crunch report on paramilitarism - @BrianPJRowan looks ahead to big day in NI politics

So today is the day, police and security services lay out their assessment of paramilitary activity here. A report from the PSNI and MI5 is due to be published later. It will cover both republicans and loyalists but what it says about the Provisional IRA is likely to be crucial for the future of power sharing at Stormont. The report was commissioned after the murder of Kevin McGuigan in August. The police's belief that current IRA members may have been involved in the killing led to a political crisis.
