a version of the song I'm going to teach next time at Bible study - recorded yesterday at my church

Well, By the Waters of Babylon was a bit of a flop yesterday, because nobody could sing in a round no matter how I endeavoured to get them to do it. :-) So I'm going to try something a bit simpler next week. Perhaps having the piano will help. I'll play the tune through first and then sing it, and hopefully they'll be able to follow along. I won't try to incorporate the nice harmony that I included here. Unfortunately, most of the people in my group can't actually sing very well, which makes things a bit difficult for me. But the Bible says that we should make a joyful noise unto the Lord, not that it has to be in tune. :-) So as far as I'm concerned, they should sing out as lustily as they see fit. Speaking of out-of-tune singing, I'm sorry that mine was so lacklustre in this recording. I had a seizure not long before I made it and was consequently feeling rather unwell. #church #music #piano #singing
