FDA approves genetically modified salmon for human consumption

A genetically modified salmon that grows at twice the rate of regular salmon has been approved as food by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. It's the first GMO animal to be approved for human consumption. Here is Dr. Bernadette Dunham with the FDA.
