NEPAL PART 7 - SIX MONTH ANNIVERSARY

Nov 28, 2015, 08:36 PM

I travelled to one of the worst affected districts in #Nepal - Sindhupalchok. It was the place where I felt overwhelmed with emotion. Knowing that hundreds of people had died on the very street that I was walking on got a bit too much for me but the strength of the Nepali people was beyond belief. I ended my journey at a world heritage site and Hindu Temple. I was taken by Beth and Dipu who had first welcomed into the country - it was beautiful to sit along the banks of the river and reflect on everything I had learnt whilst being in Nepal. I realised even an #Earthquake of this magnitude couldn't keep Nepali people from carrying on the best they could.
