Jacobs - Logigian Layne Elizabeth Jacobs and Brandon Rhys Logigian were united in marriage on Saturday September 19th, 2015 at half past five o'clock in the evening at The Grove Park Inn, Asheville NC. The Reverend Timothy Lolly officiated. Following the ceremony, the bride's mother hosted dinner and dancing on the Mountain View Terrace and Ballroom at the Grove Park Inn. On Friday evening the groom's family hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Venue, downtown Asheville. A bridesmaids' luncheon was held at The Country Club at The Grove Park Inn and was hosted by Mrs. Claudia Badick, Ms. Mary Jane Beavers, Mrs. Mary Jean Nelson, Mrs. Charmaine Purdum, Mrs. Frances Williams and Mrs. Gail Williams. A welcome dinner was held on Thursday evening at the home of the bride's uncle, Mr. Alan Willams, junior.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Karen Williams Jacobs and the late Dr. Gary Stephen Jacobs. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Drew Williams of Greensboro, NC and the late Mrs. Magdalene Elizabeth Jacobs of Decatur, GA and the late Mr. Stephen John Jacobs of Greenville, SC. Layne is a graduate of Walter Hines Page High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Duke University. She was presented at the Greensboro Symphony Presentation Ball in 2007. Layne is the CEO of Mignonne Gavigan, New York. The groom is the son of Ms. Marilyn Ann Marlek of Northport, NY and Mr. John Douglas Logigian of Centerport, NY. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Alfred Logigian of Centerport, NY and Ms. Alfreda Marlek of Smithtown, NY and Mr. Edward Marlek of Northport, NY. Brandon graduated from Harvard University. He is currently employed by Deutsche Bank, New York Escorted by her grandfather and given in marriage by her mother, the bride wore a Lihi Hod gown and her mother's wedding veil. The bride was attended by her sister as matron of honor, Mrs. Keely Jackson of Raleigh, NC. Bridesmaids were Miss Orian Almog of Evanston, IL , Miss Elizabeth Hawkins of Durham, NC, Miss Carolina Maglathlin of New York, NY, Mrs. Katie Rowland of Charlotte, NC, Miss Erin Stockard of Charlotte, NC and Mrs. Jessica McBride of New York, NY.
The groom chose his brothers, Mr. Doug Logigian and Mr. Tyler Logigian , both of New York, NY as best men. Groomsmen were Mr. Evan Calvert, Mr. John Henry Flood, IV, Mr. John Fulton, jr., Mr. Daniel Jackson, Mr. Grant Jacobs, Mr. Colin Macleod, Mr. Peter Maglathlin, jr.,Mr. Brian Mahler and Mr. Carle Stenmark. Serving, as ushers, were Mr. Brian Bilzi, Mr. Chase Caruso, Mr. Timothy McAleavey and Mr. Jack Thomson. Program attendants were Miss Caitlin Came and Miss Ariella Rotenberg, both of New York, NY.
