What's behind the hate speech law?
Scriptural Foundation: Isaiah 5:20-21
20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight! (NKJV)
My Thoughts: Today we live in a day that seems to be marred by deception and people liking the wool to be pulled over their eyes. The truth seems to take a backseat to everything today.
Recently Jan Markell, with Olive Tree Views Ministries, had their YouTube account closed because YouTube didn't agree with the truth of the gospel that she was discussing and standing on. There are many other instances I could site but I don't want to turn this summary into a political statement.
Why does the world find it OK to talk about just about anything but the minute you discuss prayer, the word of God, the truth as laid out in scripture concerning the days we live in, Christians are ridiculed, or worse thrown in jail as is happening in Canada and other parts of the world.
What's behind this movement of deception is obvious. There are powers and principalities that we cannot see but we know exist, they want the truth of the gospel quenched and stopped.

According to the Bible men will be lovers of fables and foolishness rather than lovers of God and that's what we are seeing demonstrated in the days that we are now living in.
Satan wants the world to be dumbed down spiritually so that he can run roughshod over all of us! In the end all he cares about is his own agenda and that is to be like God.
We know the end of the story, Satan loses and God wins!
My Prayer: Lord I pray that you help me and your people to spread the truth of the gospel no matter what the cost and to always be people who are good witnesses and Ambassadors for you to those who are seeking to start a relationship with you.
Help me and my friends to never shrink in the face of the growing threats that are mounting. Lord give us, your children and servants the courage and faith to persevere in the face of the many challenges and threats we will encounter today and in the future! In your name Lord Jesus amen.
