Latin jazz pianist, composer and band leader Arturo O'Farrill plays Ronnie Scott's with his Afro-Latin Jazz Quintet 11th and 12th January 2016. He called in to Jazz FM to join Chris Philips on-air. His latest album 'Cuba: The Conversation Continues' is a twice Grammy 2016-nominated masterpiece with his Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra. On the day the world heard of David Bowie's passing Arturo recalls his father Chico's work with Bowie on 'Black Tie, White Noise' and talks about his own new release, recorded in Cuba and post produced with a few shades of his home town Brooklyn, New York City. There's news too of a family collaboration due in March 2016. Take a listen.
