U.N. children's agency, UNICEF has launched an appeal of 25million US dollars for 2016.

The money will be used to get out of school children back to learning environments.

UNICEF said in a statement that 51 per cent of children between ages 6 and 15 are not in school, which is the highest number of out-of-school children in global conflict zones.

UNICEF Representative in South Sudan, Jonathan Veitch, said without increased funding, it will not be possible to support the huge numbers of children who are presently out-of-school.
