Brazilian soul star Ed Motta joined Chris Philips

Rio De Janeiro's Ed Motta joined Chris Philips on air on Friday Jan 15th to talk about his new album 'Perpetual Gateways,' one of the best of his 25 year career. He was also in town to play at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards. On air he played a selection of songs from the new album mid-interview, unplugged. This was the very first time Ed had played these songs outside of his recording studio. Take a listen.
