JOINT-owner of central Oldham live music venue Whittle's, Martin Schofield, is bidding to make 2016 a bumper year by throwing the pub's arms open to bands and artistes of all shapes, sizes and sounds. Whittle's has predominantly been regarded as a rock haunt during recent years, but though the heavier sounds will continue to be heard loud and proud inside the King Street pub, a more eclectic range of artistes is set to grace the stage there, certainly between now and the summer. Listen to Martin telling Oldham Chronicle journalist Simon Smedley all about the plans for what promises to be an exciting first six months of the year.
