Ghanaian MP - "The basis for Peace is trust"

A Ghanaian legislator is stressing the importance of trust in any peace building effort.

Mr. Fritz Baffour is the Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma south constituency in Southern Ghana.

He is also the chairman of the select committee for defence and interior in the Ghanaian Parliament.

Commenting on the South Sudan peace process, Bafour said the basis for peace is trust.

Bafour was in South Sudan to attend the decoration ceremony of 300 Ghanaian peacekeepers serving as part of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), stationed in Bentiu.
