EXCLUSIVE: Riek Machar talks to Radio Miraya

Opposition leader Riek Machar says the creation of the 28 states still remains a major sticking point in the implementation of the peace agreement.

The SPLM-IO leader was in Uganda yesterday to discuss the peace process with Uganda President Yoweri Museveni.

During the meeting he asked the Uganda leader to use his influence to persuade President Kiir to drop the 28 states.

Speaking exclusively to Radio Miraya from Kampala, Machar also said he would return to Juba after the formation of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly.
