"Where's our apology?" former female firefighter says she is still being blamed after ex-chief found guilty of sexual assault

Last year, a court ruled that Kirsten Rudolph and two other female volunteer firefighters in Fort St James were harassed and even sexually assaulted by their fire chief, Robert Bennett. Bennett was found guilty and sentenced to jail time but. is appealing his conviction.
Rudolph says she's now the target of small town whisper campaign, with many in the community blaming her for bringing the charges forward. She is asking for an apology from the district of Fort St James because she says she believes it would set a good example.
The district declined to comment because of Bennett's appeal, and a civil lawsuit filed by the victims against Bennett and Fort St James, are still before the courts.
