Ex-MPs say disgraced footballer Adam Johnson should play again #BBCNolan

Sunderland played at the weekend, for the first time since their former winger Adam Johnson was convicted of child sex offences. A Police and Crime Commissioner has backed calls for Sunderland Football Club to reveal what it knew about the allegations against Johnson. The footballer was suspended by the club when he was arrested for grooming a schoolgirl, but was later allowed to play again. He was then sacked when he pleaded guilty to some of the charges.
