Cindy Dettling is being credited for triggering a review of the fines for driving passed stopped school buses in B.C. She is a bus driver for school district 60 in Fort St John, and in August started raising awareness about the danger posed to kids by drivers passing stopped buses. Now the government has heard her, and will likely be making changes to the punishment given to those who break the rules.
