The war in the areas of Western Equatoria will continue and it is the women dying, laments a local.

Lina Hassan Katasi wonders how women will endure with all the difficulties if peace is not implemented.

“We don’t know how we are going to stay... if they don’t put that peace into action. We are seeing the war will continue and it is us women who will be dying,” says Katasi.

Parents cannot afford school fees for their children due to the economic crisis in the country, she decries.

She appeals to President Salva Kiir and Dr Riek Machar to put the peace deal into action to enable farming and learning environment for children.
