Marie Loves the small differences volunteering can make in people’s lives

Marie Bracquemont, talks about how volunteering at the Media Relations & Spokesperson Unit of the Public Information Office - UN mission in #SouthSudan has helped her share her media monitoring skills with the national staff. “This is one way of empowering colleagues with skills in Media monitoring” says Marie.

She talks about passion for Africa and how volunteering has helped her to bridge the gap and build social cohesion.

Marie appreciates the small differences that volunteers can make in the lives of the communities where they serve.

“You don’t have to do much but if you aware that you are giving people the same opportunities that you have in your life, you can make a difference.”
