Govt advert about reporting 'suspected' child abuse. Incidentally its discretionary to report because there's no law

In this advertisement, two 'Regulated Activities' are mentioned these being a teacher and a sports coach. Staff involved in these Regulated Activities are not required by law to report even witnessed abuse of a child. In this regard England, Wales and Scotland lag the rest of the world on MR legislation. The advert shares much with the decade long seatbelt and drink driving campaigns which made no impact on the problem. When law was eventually introduced, to address both, fatal accidents declined dramatically and it became perfectly normal to buckle up and arrange a designated driver .

MR law is long overdue.
