Legal aid for the poor crucial for justice in South Sudan

A lawyer and scholar is suggesting a restructuring of the South Sudan judiciary to make the justice system more effective and accessible to all.

Speaking about pro-bono services on the Miraya Breakfast Show, Mr. Ajo Noel, a graduate from the Harvard Law School described the justice system in South Sudan as ‘broken’ and in need of repair. He said, in a country where the rule of law is weak, there is a desperate need for pro-bono services in South Sudan. More in this interview.
