Full economic recovery requires significant reforms in #SouthSudan

Structural reforms and unified political vision for peace are the vital ingredients needed to resuscitate #SouthSudan's economy, according to an economic analyst.

Aggrey Idri, a member of the national parliament spoke of the urgent reforms needed, once the Transitional Government of National Unity is formed. "Once we unified our national political address to the nation and to the whole world that we are committed to peace and that we are working for peace and we will ensure stability in every corner of our country and our priority will now be peace."

The state of #SouthSudan's economy is high on the agenda of a meeting by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund mid April.
