High Street retailer BHS is to file for administration this morning, threatening almost 11,000 jobs UK wide. The company have four premises in Northern Ireland with its flag ship store based in Belfast . Last year, Retail Acquisitions, bought BHS from the retail entrepreneur Sir Philip Green for £1.

The retailer has debts of more than £1.3bn, including a £571m pension fund deficit.

It will be the biggest loss to the high street since Woolworths closed it doors in 2009. Marketing expert Donald McFetridge
