Flooding as a global issue

As rainy season draws near, it has been a moment of mixed feelings for Lagos residents. Although the rains is expected to normalise the temperature, thus helping residents to overcome the intense hot weather and heat waves which have posed serious heath threats . But on the other hand, the rains ushers in another season of flooding like in the past when thousands were ejected from their houses due to flooding. For short, most Lagos residents are at risk of losing their houses to flood which makes rainy season a one dreaded by inhabitants of the sprawling mega city.
