£2.1 million Spent On Former Chief Constable At Hillsborough Inquest

BBC Look North has discovered that South Yorkshire Police paid out two point one million pounds for the legal representation of its former chief constable during the Hillsborough Inquests. David Crompton was suspended from service 24 hours after the jury returned its verdict. The county's police and crime commissioner said the bill was down to the length of the inquests.
