One day Lucy was arguing with her mom. Lucy was getting angrier and angrier. Finally she yelled, “I’ll never change!” Suddenly Lucy and her mom both started laughing. They knew that Lucy had just said a very silly thing. Everyone changes. We spend our whole lives changing. We learn new things; we meet new people; we have new ideas. An ancient Greek philosopher named Heraclitus once said, “There is nothing permanent except change.”

TODAY I’ll welcome the changes in my life.
