It sounds easy, to “be yourself.” In fact, it can be very hard. To be yourself, you have to know yourself. You have to stick up for yourself and resist peer pressure. You have to be willing to be lonely sometimes, and unpopular sometimes. Poet E. E. Cummings once wrote, “To be nobody but yourself, in a world which is doing its best to make you like everybody else, means to fight one of the hardest battles of your life.”

TODAY I’ll try to be myself, as hard as it may be.
