Sergeant Robert Quigg V.C. - A Bushmills Hero

Earlier this year The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh unveiled a statue to Robert Quigg who won a Victoria Cross for bravery during the Battle of the Somme. The statue is sited in the centre of Bushmills, Co. Antrim, looking towards the war memorial commemorating more than 20 comrades from the village who died on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
