South Sudan Red Cross launches public appeal for recovery of its looted materials

The South Sudan Red Cross is appealing to the public to assist in the recovery of their visibility materials that were looted in the recent insecurity.

The organization’s warehouse along the Juba-Yei road was broken into and emergency items for 18-thousand individuals, and visibility items such as reflector jackets and aprons were stolen.

South Sudan Red Cross communications manager, Marial Mayom, says the organization is concerned the items could end up in the wrong hands.
