Moving Protest Against Bombing of Aleppo Outside Russian Embassy - Dublin

"Its in our DNA being Irish" through "famine and war" that Ireland identifes with the Syrian people, one protester Denis Lucey who travelled over 130 miles from Cork said at protest outside Russian embassy in Dublin on Thursday, October 6, 2016.

The protest against Russia's bombing of Aleppo occured the day after the UN Human Rights Commissioner warned that the use of banned incendiary and cluster bombs against heavily populated civilain areas amount to crimes against human and warcrimes.

Filmmaker Anne Daly, currently involved in co-producing feature lenght documentary on the roots of the Syria uprising and conflict with Ronan Tynan, went along and recorded this report.
