Unknown Memories

TERUAH…! I hear the Shofar blowing in the memories of the night. It calls to me and I hear it deep, not in my ear but in my guts, and it wakes from my sleep. TERUAH…! TERUAH…! Get Ready Get Ready! I long for the home I’ve only known buried deep within my bones. My old identity awakens in a moment and I know who I am and where I belong. I am aching, sick with longing for the home that’s known only in the unknown memory of a place I’ve never been. ABA YAH, ABA YAH, send your Couriers to get me. Out of Egypt HE will lead me. Babylon behind me leaving, nose north to Havilah, the garden.
TERUAH…! TERUAH…! Get Ready Get Ready!
Come quickly. michaEL
