Prince Rupert opts out of Highway of Tears transportation plan in favour of alternate program

Prince Rupert Mayor Lee Brain says rather than take part in the province's Highway 16 transport plan, the coastal city will be teaming up with the North Coast Transition Society to provide emergency transportation for people in need.
