FAQ Boo: How can the future of journalism be online when it is less trusted than print?

Nov 11, 2011, 09:20 AM

The latest UK research on 'trusted media' suggests that dedicated news websites are more trusted than newspapers: 55% to 38% http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2011/nov/14/phone-hacking-public-trust?CMP=twt_fd

Again, I don't think this sort of research is that helpful, as trust tends to be based on a mixture of factors, including the particular source - one newspaper is more trusted than another, one website more than another; one friend on social media more than a stranger on social media. #FAQ
