UNICEF Campaign calls for Greater Investment in early childhood

The UN's children's agency - UNICEF, is asking Governments to embrace a campaign for greater investment and action in early childhood development.
The global campaign under the slogan ‘Eat-Play-Love’ is spearheaded by UNICEF and calls on government to pay more attention to ensuring children are brought up in a peaceful environment in the first 1,000 days of their lives.
Tim Irwin, UNICEF Communications Officer spoke to Miraya Breakfast Show host Sebit William and explains why greater investment in early childhood is needed.
