A group of army Chaplains in #SouthSudan have organized a prayer event to build relations between the army and citizens.

The event at the John Garang Mausoleum this Saturday, will be led by the army clerics and will start from 10 o’clock in the morning till 5 o’clock in the evening.

Civic-military relations have been strained, with many civilians living in fear of the military since the onset of the conflict in 2013.

Pastor James Omondi, John Jeremiah Tambua and Reverand Richard Samuel Bakia told Radio Miraya how they plan to bridge the divide between soldiers and the citizens.
