ABF Kilimanjaro Climb!

This week we’ve been hearing from Barney Gillespie, a former soldier with the Royal Irish Regiment. This week is the 6th Year anniversary of Barney losing his leg after being blown up by an IED in Afghanistan whilst deployed in January 2010. With the help of ABF The Soldier’s Charity he was given the support he needed to adapt to his life as an amputee. In the years since his injury he has worked hard at giving back, overcoming many obstacles and climbing a few mountains along the way…..
