“Listen carefully, class. I’m going to give you your assignment for next week. I want each of you to write a 500-word essay in English. The topic of the essay is ‘My Favorite English-Language Movie.’ You can write about whatever English-language movie you like the most.

After you have given the title of the movie, explain why you have chosen it. For a good explanation, you will need to give specific reasons. Explain clearly why you think that the movie is particularly good. If the movie has a special meaning for you, explain that, too. You may also need to describe the movie’s basic story.

After I have read all the essays, I will choose the best one. We will watch that essay’s movie together in our in our class at the end of next month. We will also study the English conversation that the movie contains. Does everyone understand? Okay, good luck to you all!”
