In the cartoon strip “One Big Happy,” two children live very near their grandparents. They see them almost every day. They go shopping together, read stories, take walks, and share meals. Most of us live too far from our grandparents to spend much time with them. If yours are in another town or state, they would probably love getting a letter from you (even a short one). And you’ll feel good about writing it.

Today I’ll write a letter to my grandparents or someone else I care about.
