• Government begins relocating IDPs adjacent to Juba airport to Upper Nile

The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs has started relocating displaced people camped near Juba International Airport to Palouch in Upper Nile.
The Undersecretary in the Ministry Peter Kulang says the IDPs, mainly women and children are from Yei and refugee camps in Uganda, and have been provided with food and medicines as they await transportation.
Kulang says the airlift operation started Thursday and is expected to take 20 days.
He also says plans are underway to relocate the IDPs to a suitable location away from the airport.
He spoke to Sebit William in thisinterview.
