Grand Chief Stewart Phillip not surprised at report pointing to bad policing practices in northern B.C.

The RCMP's federal watchdog has found numerous problems with policing in northern B.C., including how they handle missing persons cases and disparities between treatment of Indigenous and non-Indigenous people who are publicly intoxicated. Union of B.C. Indian Chiefs Grand Chief Stewart Phillip says he isn’t surprised.
