Chris Trott: UK's response plan to South Sudan Crisis

Famine has been declared in parts of #SouthSudan, Humanitarian teams are racing against time to deliver the much needed food aid amid budget strains. On the other hand implementation of the Agreement to resolve the conflict in South Sudan has "run into trouble" as the President opts for a National dialogue.

Chris Trott, is the UK special envoy to South Sudan and Sudan. He has concluded a trip to South Sudan and had a chance to travel to Padeah county in Leer, for an on-spot assessment of the humanitarian situation there. He spoke to Sebit William on Miraya Breakfast Show
