Humanitarean Teams reach South Sudan's starving Citizens

Humanitarian aid agencies say they have managed to reach Close to 200,000 people across South Sudan with life-saving food deliveries.

Food aid has been delivered to more than 100 – thousand people in the areas of Mayendit county and Koch counties of Unity.

Three mobile response teams are deployed across Leer County to deliver food to more than 48 – thousand people and further food deliveries are planned for Koch and Panyiajar in the coming days.

Joyce Luma, head of the UN’s World Food Program, said safety and security is essential to establish health centers and support livelihood activities.
