3: If I am selling a cheap product, do I really need a blog?
I think you do need a blog at all times, regardless whether you sell something that’s cheap or expensive and even in cases when you don’t expect to get paid in money. Because before someone can buy something from you, they first have to trust you. And blogs (if done right) are amazing trust building tools. Over time when you help your readers in many ways, they come back to you for more. Only then you can hope to sell even a cheap product. Always remember that the biggest hurdle your customers have is whether to open their wallets and give you $1, not 10 or 100 or even a 1000. Sure, more expensive products require even more trust but the most difficult part for you as a seller is to convince them to buy something for $1. Selling is easy when you have trust.
