2.accord with : estar de acordo com alguém ou alguma coisa. The new finance minister’s opinions are not in accord with the President’s.  3.Account for 1 prestar contas, responder por, considerar. The police asked the thief to account for his whereabouts on the night of the crime. 2. indicar uma quantidade em relação ao total. Women in Brazil account for more than half the population. 

1. ace out (on) vencer alguém ou se dar muito bem (jogos ou provas). I studied like crazy and aced out on my French test.  Rachael had her job interview this morning. She said she aced out. 5.Ache for vt desejar muito. Just after I had quit smoking I used to ache for a cigarette. .

Idiomatic Expressions 1.be / get above oneself comportar- se como se fosse superior ou mais importante que as outras pessoas, achar-se o tal. You’re just an employee around here. Don’t get above yourself and start thinking you can tell me what to do. 2. be above someone’s head ser difícil demais para alguém entender, estar acima do conhecimento ou entendimento de alguém. Don’t you think the book is a little above his head? After all he’s only eleven.
