An ex soldier and double amputee says a teenage racing driver will have a career once he's recovered from his crash at Donington Park.

Billy Monger had to have his lower legs removed after crashing into a stationary car during a F4 race on Sunday in Derbyshire.

David Birrell lost both his legs in an IED explosion serving as a soldier in Afghanistan, he's now a racing driver:

More than £633,000 has been raised online for Billy's recovery, with racing drivers like Jenson Button and Tom Ingram donating thousands.
