“Mistakes are the portals of discovery.” James Joyce

Many discoveries have been the result of mistakes or accidents: X-rays, rubber, floating soap, Silly Putty, Slinky toys, Popsicles, and Post-it Notes, to name a few. (Did you know that Columbus was originally looking for India?) A mistake can lead you in an exciting new direction, if you’re willing to go.

Today I’ll let a mistake inspire me, not stop me.
